I have a little confession, this sweet family had to go on quite the adventure with me to complete this lovely session. This was the first time I had to change locations mid-session. As much I love certain spots in Tampa, sometimes you just don’t know what you crowd you may be hanging with! Thankfully the lovely T family were up for the adventure and I am so glad they were because I feel like this little glass ally was MADE for them! It has been such an honor being a part of your family’s journey, watching your girls grow into the beautiful young ladies they are today. I even love the fact that we sat in the office for days trying to come up with the perfect name for little M! You guys are so special to me, thank you for being a part of the GGP family! xoxoxo
Every time I see my sweet S family, I just want to SQUEEZE them! My little friends G & M are as huggable as they come! It’s so easy to capture this family’s love because they have nothing but LOVE to show! Mike and Jess, I cannot thank you enough for the time we spent together, my heart is always full and warm when we get together! AND thank you for some new capture ideas, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the hug and kiss picture! I may be one of my new faves! Just adore you guys!
I love when my little friends become my sidekick! Little guy was such a BIG help, he helped me with posing ideas 😉 He helped me with what to say to mom and dad to get good smiles and lots of hugs! He even showed me his karate moves during our time together. I love creating memories with my clients that stay close to my heart and this session will definitely have a special place in my heart, their love was inspiring. Beautiful hearts, Beautiful family! Thank you Sherri for blessing me with the opportunity and I am so happy you guys are a part of the GGP family!
Energetic. Brilliant. Fun-loving. ❤
The B family is the complete package, they are smart, funny, fun, loving and all around down to earth. Anytime we get together to take pictures I always feel in my element, at home and a little bit like part of the family! This family always warms my heart. Their son greeted me with the biggest hug ever and even a few high fives! It was a great way to start our session and even ended with lots of hugs. Thank you so much B family for being a part of the GGP family, you know you guys rock! So much love for you!
Can I just say I could NOT get enough of these two super cute kiddos! They were the absolute best! I could have totally followed them around all morning taking pictures of them. Their laughs, their energy.. perfection! Both had great ideas for their pictures and kept me smiling all morning! Thank you Erin for choosing me to capture your kiddos this year, I am truly honored you chose me and hope to get you in a few pictures one day! Hugs!
Many moons ago, I was a middle school Language Arts teacher and recently I’ve had the privilege of capturing many of my former students Senior sessions. This handsome guy is not only a former student, but has become a very special person to my family!
We had so many moments on this shoot where we were close to tears from laughing so hard. His momma joined us, and let me share, she knew EXACTLY what she wanted from this session. I think I might bring her to future sessions, she helped keep this free spirit on task! 😉
When we first arrived at UT I was a little stressed because, as we soon came to find out, it was prom night. The school was swarming with beautiful seniors scattered at every inch of this beautiful campus. The park area was set up with a Plant Fair and the water walk way was closed off due to the fair. OKAY! We can do this… it was time to regroup. We walked behind the school and found this cute little walk way! Momma was all about it, I just couldn’t tell her I had NEVER even seen this side of the school before 😉 (See above!)
We moved on and jumped into empty areas of the schools as we could! We made conversation with all the parents lined up to take pictures of the dressed-to-the-nines children. We learned that it’s not unheard of to spend $1,000 on a prom dress! ( I have two girls- time to start saving??) And the best part, many of the beautiful girls in their dresses took time to smile and say hi to our sweet senior!
When we couldn’t find anymore places to squeeze in at UT, we headed over to Curtis Hixon park and catch the sunset! Isaiah’s mom kept Isaiah’s smile alive as she shared so many stories of Isaiah from his childhood.
Isaiah is soon off to college and I could not have enjoyed more the lovely banter between Isaiah and his mother. They are the best of friends, that’s for sure! What an exciting time in both of their lives! I am humbled I could be a a part of it and spend this lovely afternoon with them. Enjoy a few more pictures from our session!
